Ocean surf and sea foam splash against the rocks of Carmel California in a beautiful explosion of water. Carmel and Big Sur are well known for massive waves that can easily tower over twenty feet high. When these waves crash into the shoreline water shoots up in a violent fashion. When captured with a fast shutter speed, the water becomes frozen in time resulting in a split second of silent beauty.
