Fine Art Print | Limited Edition of 50 The glow of morning radiates through the fog and mist of the Pacific Northwest. Located in Central Oregon, Sparks lake is nestled amongst the beautiful peaks of the Cascade Range. It was create around 10,000 years ago when lava from the the Mt Bachelor chain damed the Deschutes River. The 370 acre lake is has a maximum depth of only ten feet and is home to brooke and cut throught trout. With a surface elevation of 5,433, Sparks lake often produces fog on the frosty moring that are common in the summer time. The lake was a favorite location the the late landscape photograper Ray Atkeson who was also an Oregon native. © Mike Wardynski Photography
